The STFX X-Men climb up the ACBA leaderboard after a sweep of the DAL Tigers on Saturday.

Kienan Richard drove in four runs on four hits to lead STFX X-Men past DAL Tigers 14-4 on Saturday at Credit Union Field, Antigonish NS. Richard singled in the first inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the sixth inning, scoring two.


Ryan MacDonald, Evan Whyte, and Richard at the bottom of STFX X-Men's lineup combined for seven of the team's 13 hits in their victory. They scored four runs and drove in seven.


STFX X-Men opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to four singles. STFX X-Men first got on the board when Nolan Galloway singled, scoring one run.


STFX X-Men scored eight runs on four hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. MacDonald singled, scoring one run, Aiden Myette singled, scoring one run, Kyle Moore was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Galloway was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Moore scored after tagging up, and Richard singled, scoring two runs.


Landon Steele earned the win for STFX X-Men. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and three runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out one and walking two. Ewan Galloway took the loss for DAL Tigers. The pitcher went five innings, giving up seven runs on nine hits, striking out three and walking two. Ryder Penny appeared in relief for STFX X-Men.


STFX X-Men tallied 13 hits in the game. Whyte and Myette each collected multiple hits for STFX X-Men. Richard stole two bases. STFX X-Men ran wild on the base paths, piling up six stolen bases for the game. STFX X-Men turned two double plays in the game.


Jordan Rovet drove the middle of the lineup, leading DAL Tigers with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Jack Randall led DAL Tigers with two hits in three at bats. .

Kyle Moore collected four hits in four at bats, as STFX X-Men defeated DAL Tigers 6-1 on Saturday at Credit Union Field, Antigonish NS. Moore singled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.


STFX X-Men got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Evan Whyte scored after tagging up, and Ryan MacDonald singled, each scoring one run.


A tag up by Moore extended the STFX X-Men lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning.


Blake Cooper earned the win for STFX X-Men. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out none and walking two.


Riley Andre took the loss for DAL Tigers. The right-handed pitcher went five and one-third innings, giving up six runs (five earned) on 12 hits, striking out one and walking four. Lochlan Kearns pitched two innings of no-run ball for STFX X-Men in relief. The pitcher allowed two hits, striking out three and walking one.


STFX X-Men piled up 12 hits in the game. MacDonald and Carter Dickson were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for STFX X-Men. Whyte collected two hits for STFX X-Men in three at bats. STFX X-Men ran wild on the base paths, accumulating four stolen bases for the game.


Xander Brown, Conrad Von Palleske, Mason Mayea, and Ewan Galloway each collected one hit for DAL Tigers. Nick Murray led the team with one run batted in.


STFX X-Men welcome Holland College Hurricanes on Sunday for their next game.
